What We Do
Our aims are to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ and share Gods love throughout the community by provides personal and group bible study and visitation in churches, homes, nursing homes, hospitals, and prisons.
I can deeply appreciate how the Bible gives so many helpful illustrations to understand what it means to live the Christian life. We are not to think of church as a building, but as a body and we are to encourage each other and to be involved. We are interested in and engaged in whatever our local church body is doing. We are to have effective communication with each other and to constantly think about the eternal value of our actions. This means we are to always be thinking about the body of believers because this is the one institution Jesus Christ promised to build. He said, “I will build my church and the gates of hell shall not overcome it.” (Matthew 16:18)
Christian life and practice should be reflected as peacemakers. And peacebuilding is an achievable way of life for someone following Jesus’ example and the person who strives to reach peace should uphold high personal standards, such as honesty, integrity and maintain the respect of others around him.
The Sermon on the Mount, Jesus throws open the invitation to the whole human race. “Blessed are the peacemakers; they are the sons and daughters of the God of peace.” Everyone is the son or daughter of the God of peace, which means everyone is called to be, like him, a peacemaker nonviolent, loving our enemies. At the high point of his sermon, then you are really sons and daughters of the God of universal nonviolent love that the gates of hell shall not overcome.
Our Values
The word “authentic” means real; to be true or genuine and faith is believing in a God we do not physically see. The bible tells us we can know because He has given us the Holy Spirit who unites the believer with Christ and places him in each of us. He also unites the believer with Christ in His death, enabling him to live victoriously over sin.
As a parent I can tell you that preschoolers are the smartest people in the world. I never needed to tell them if I had a headache, if I did not sleep well, or if something was on my mind. They intuitively knew by my actions, expressions, and demeanor. Preschoolers can also tell if I was living an authentic faith-filled life in Christ. And with child-like faith, preschoolers can read people like books. They are always watching, learning, and imitating. As parents, we are a walking and breathing example of what it means to live with an authentic faith in Jesus. With such a tender and receptive audience surrounding us, the daily pursuit of a deeper and even more authentic faith in the Lord is imperative.

When others see Jesus in us, He can become real to them. Surely this type of authentic faith is laying foundations for future faith!
So, I say “my faith is authentic” because I strive to live as faith filled example and believe the same Holy Spirit dwells within me as I submit to God. 2 Timothy 3:15-17. and how from infancy you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.
